Neckerchief Designer

Introduction

Depending on your website package level, it's now possible to personalise some website images by specifying neckerchief colours.

Default profile images and group detail header images may be automatically built and shown based on colours specified.

Use the Neckerchief Design tool at the bottom of this page to build colour schemes for your website.

Group Websites

Neckerchief/scarf colours can now be shown in the default profile image on the sectional Meet The Team pages.

To set this up, build the Configuration String using the tool below, open up the Admin/Section Details page on your website and select the Group section. Paste the Configuration String into the Neckerchief Colours field and click [Save].

District and County Websites

If you have a District/County neckerchief, this may be shown in the default profile images on the About/Meet The Team page and Members/Directory page. Group colours can also be shown on the Group/Group Details pages and in the default profile image for each group member in the Members/Directory page.

To set your District/County colour scheme, build the Configuration String using this tool below, open the Admin/Global Settings page on your website and paste the Configuration String into the Neckerchief Colours and click [Save].

To set group colour schemes, open up the Admin/Group Details page on your website, select the appropriate group, move to the Sections tab and select the Group section. Paste the Configuration String into the Neckerchief Colours field and click [Save].

Configuring Neckerchief Designer

This configurator tool allows standard neckerchief designs to be built, with different colours on left and right, up to 3 borders and virtical stripes at the back.

You may enter colour names (E.g. red, green, blue, etc.) or use more precise hexadecimal colour codes prefixed with a '#' (E.g. #ff0000, #00ff00, #0000ff. etc.)

You can see a list of colour names HERE. Hexadecimal colour codes may be found HERE.

Once you've entered your colours into the fields below, click the [Update Configuration] button to view the results and update the Configuration String. If ou want to edit an exisiting string, paste it into the Configuration String field and click [Update From Configuration String].

NB. The view below shows the neckerchief from the back. When rolled and put round your neck, the left side will be on your left side and the right on your right. Therefore, the default Meet The Team image will show the left-hand side on the right of the picture as you look at it.
